Objectives/Activities:

  • Result 1: Access of women and girls with disability is improved to available support and social services.
  • Result 2: Further discrimination and violence against women and girls with disabilities in 7 provinces is prevented and their quality of life improved.
  • Result 3: Representation of women with disabilities in decision-making for their human rights is increased in Afghanistan through dialogues, capacity building and interaction with new Taliban government authorities.

To organize 2 days seminars on NAP-UNSCR-1325 for 15 women organizations and 5 organizations of people with disabilities (DPOs) as part of civil society organizations
  • Activity 2. Organizing six Panel discussions / conferences in Herat University and 3 private universities
  • Activity 3. Monthly TV show about participation of women in Elections with participation of three social and political activists
  • Activity 4. Printing billboards for encouraging women to participate in elections and political activities
